Okay, here's a few of 'em, all from the same person. Should be fairly recognizable...unfortunately.

"What a waste it is to lose one's mind. Or not to have a mind is very wasteful. How true that is."
"We're going to have the best-educated American people in the world."
"I have made good judgements in the past. I have made good judgements in the future."
"Illegitimacy is something we should talk about in terms of not having it."
"Verbosity leads to unclear, inarticulate things."
Finally, an easy one, the man who made all of those quotes is ....John F. Kerry.

Now how about this one....

I BELIEVE IN GOD, BUT NOT AS ONE THING, NOT AS AN OLD MAN IN THE SKY. I BELIEVE THAT WHAT PEOPLE CALL GOD IS SOMETHING IN ALL OF US. I BELIEVE THAT WHAT JESUS AND MOHAMMED AND BUDDHA AND ALL THE REST SAID IS RIGHT. IT'S JUST THAT THE TRANSLATIONS HAVE GONE WRONG.

That would be John Lennon.

Just came across this one whilst reading and love it.....

I give up RuqeeD, I have looked high and low but once again I cannot find who made that quote. Can you please tell us. :)

Ok guys, it would be....Jasper Fforde :D

I came across it whilst I was reading Lost in a Good Book and it's on the page after the dedications, you know where you have quotes. It says its from the teachings of St Zvlkx who is a figment of Mr Fforde's really weird imagination so essentially it's from him. :D :D

Oh man, Maud is going to be furious she missed that one. Good call RuqeeD. :D

How about....

IDEAS ARE MORE POWERFUL THAN GUNS. WE WOULD NOT LET OUR ENEMIES HAVE GUNS, WHY SHOULD WE LET THEM HAVE IDEAS.

(I would just like to say that I do not agree with many of the quotes I post, including this one.)

Joseph Stalin. Living in an area with too many guns and too few ideas, I probably won't have that one printed on a t-shirt.

This one's for my girls: "By gnawing through a dike, even a rat may drown a nation"

Hey Tralala that is such a cool quote. I think it was made by Edmund Burke.

How about....

@Fran

Haha, I did not even have to look that one up. It was made by the Great little general himself Napoleon.

How about....

I DID EVERYTHING. I RAN MY LIFE EXACTLY AS I WANTED TO, ALL THE TIME. I NEVER LISTENED TO ANYBODY. I'M PIG-HEADED.

Actor Michael Caine said that, however, he may be hard to live with at times!

Who said these immortal words "An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind".

Maud, that is such a great quote. If is so meaningful and I am disappointed that I did not know who made it. After googling I found out that it is Mahatma Gandhi. If all the world leaders lived by that quote what a wonderful world it would be for everyone. Not gonna happen I know, but still.

That was John F Kennedy

Now try this one:

'I know you are here to kill me. Shoot, coward, you are only going to kill a man'.

Thats a great quote Fran made by the man who is featured on more t-shirts than anyone else. I even have one myself. Che Guevara.

How about....
