Thanks so much. Maya was quite interesting and definitely spunky. The words were a bit confusing, but it wasn't completely overwhelming.

A book with foreign words and no glossary would certainly throw me off. I'm sorry that the there were some unexplained events in an otherwise interesting book. I always enjoy your reviews.Thanks!

Just today I read three reviews about witches. It seems that JKRowling has inspired many to follow her lead. I wonder if they will bewitch millions, too. Is Maya anything like Hermione, my favorite witch?

Not really. It's not really very similar to Harry Potter. Maya is older when she gets pulled into this fantasy world. It was fun to read, though. Thanks.

I appreciate the challenge of effectively building a new world. It's daunting to me, and it's good to see that the author pulled it off. I'm not sure that I would enjoy this particular world, with this particular plot. Thank you for the awesome review, and thank you to SunVixen for shedding some light on the word usage as well.

The Witch by Mistake sounds interesting and review seems to back it up. However, it sounds like every other supernatural I found out I have powers story.
