I do hope the author considers adding a glossary. Nevertheless, it was an interesting book. Thanks for your comment.Janelle Juncos wrote: ↑16 Apr 2019, 20:55 The glossary of terms is a great suggestion! I love it when a creative author pens a new world for me. Thanks for the review!

It was fun, and I did enjoy being part of a different world for a while. Thanks so much!Bianka Walter wrote: ↑17 Apr 2019, 01:52 I love it when world-building is done right. It puts you right into that faraway place and draws you into the book even further.
This sounds like fun!

You're sweet. It was an enjoyable read in spite of the confusing words. SunVixen did give me some insight into that, which makes it much more interesting. Thanks for your comment.gen_g wrote: ↑17 Apr 2019, 04:59 This sounds so fascinating! The premise is rather fresh, but it's a pity about the inconsistencies that you found. I certainly hope that the author will take your suggestions to heart – I would definitely be confused about the various Russian/made-up terms as well. Thanks for the brilliant review as always!

Thanks so much. Maya was quite interesting and definitely spunky. The words were a bit confusing, but it wasn't completely overwhelming.daviddawud wrote: ↑17 Apr 2019, 07:27 I'm a fan of fantasy novel as well but I don't think I will give this book a shot. I specifically don't like the fact that some words might be complicated for my understanding. I however love the intriguing character of Maya. Great review I must confess.

Not really. It's not really very similar to Harry Potter. Maya is older when she gets pulled into this fantasy world. It was fun to read, though. Thanks.Miriam Molina wrote: ↑17 Apr 2019, 11:23 Just today I read three reviews about witches. It seems that JKRowling has inspired many to follow her lead. I wonder if they will bewitch millions, too. Is Maya anything like Hermione, my favorite witch?

I understand. It's not for everyone. I did enjoy it, and I appreciated SunVixen sharing the information about the different words. Thanks for commenting.ElizaBeth Adams wrote: ↑18 Apr 2019, 07:08 I appreciate the challenge of effectively building a new world. It's daunting to me, and it's good to see that the author pulled it off. I'm not sure that I would enjoy this particular world, with this particular plot. Thank you for the awesome review, and thank you to SunVixen for shedding some light on the word usage as well.
