Wow I thought for sure it was a real story of the men. He did really well with this.unamilagra wrote: ↑11 Jan 2020, 15:14You have some good excuses to go to great places! Yes, I believe the author is a travel blogger in addition to an author, so I assume he's probably been to the locations he's writing about. Being a travel blogger would be a dream job for me!pshaw1414 wrote: ↑08 Jan 2020, 15:46 I have never been to any of these locations. I live in the US, and have family in Hawaii, but have never gotten to visit. I also have family in Austrailia, and have discussed vacationing there with my grandmother.
The descriptions in the book were awesome. I think he was writing from experience, right? I was looking for a clue that this was a memoir-type piece but I couldn't find anything.

I wouldn´t leave it too long... once your daughter is old eough to keep up you may find she wants to go with her friends and not her beloved mater and paterunamilagra wrote: ↑11 Jan 2020, 15:15
This is on our bucket list too. My husband and I were planning to go do the Inca trail, but our daughter wants to come with usso we will have to wait until she's old enough to keep up. Hope I'm not too old by then!

I had the same feeling! South America has never been on my list to visit, but the descriptions kind of make me want to go there.
