I haven't read The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, but a good self-help book can indeed make a lot of difference. Thank you for your appreciation!

I agree with the premise - I already like how you described the book in the first paragraph. Baby steps would eventually amount to something. Thanks for this review!

I try to learn something every day and this sounds like a book to help make that attainable. I'm interested in what good and bad habits I might have.

Your attitude is already positive, so it should be easy to implement small positive habits. Thank you for your comment!

I totally agree that humans are creatures of habits. It is for this reason that some of us find it difficult to break free from things we know we shouldn't hold on to. I'm sure this book will be really helpful with knowing how to improve our habits. I hope a lot of people get to read this book.

Honestly, I'm not sure what habits they follow. I mean, the book's author didn't interview them, he just mentioned them briefly. Thank you for your appreciation.

It's certainly useful thanks to the author's very practical approach. You can start with the changes that come easier then continue step by step with more difficult changes.

Caribqueen16 wrote: 14 Apr 2020, 08:48 A healthy mind in a healthy body. A very wise saying. The author's advice is what is given every day, but is the individual person willing to implement this change. The Power of Small Habits could be The Power Over Small Bad Habits. The individual first has to mentally prepare himself/herself for what may seem a herculean task, as it is a lifetime of a certain bad habit that is being practiced. Each person has to go at his/her own pace as the author states that it can be a painful and bumpy road. I like your review and can relate to your positive criticisms.
It's absolutely up to the individual to have the willpower to implement a change from bad habits to good habits, so your version of the title, The Power Over Small Bad Habits, is correct. Thank you for your appreciation!
Yes, absolutely. I can relate to it being about the individual and going at one's own pace. I find this book and your review interesting because, incidentally, I am in the process of trying to develop good small habits. I'd listened to a podcast on tiny habits and was inspired to try it out. I guess this is similar to what I would have heard on the podcast.

Thank you for another great review!
