How horrible that Emilia betrays Maria in such a manner! It is fortunate that Tyler gets caught in time. But he dies in jail; does this relate to Maria's secret?

It seems the author has not corrected the errors until now. The sample was quite confusing. That's a pity.

Thank you, Rosemary for reading and reviewing this book. I barely got through the sample because of all the mistakes!

With editing that is absolutely horrendous, Neighbor at Number 18 will go on my "Not Interested" list and bookshelf! It's a pity that the author didn't have the book professionally edited.

What a shame it didn’t seem to have been proofread. These mistakes in the narrative you’ve commented would have thrown me off. I was actually interested in the plot but I’ll wait to see if it will get another edition.

Great review! Thanks!!

While today's BOTD is not one for me, those who enjoy stories about family relationships, romance, and secrets are in for a treat. The book's high point is its realistic, well-developed characters...maybe after a good round of editing, I'll change my mind and give it a try! Thanks again! :-)

If the sample is any indication of the book itself, I don't believe I would be able to overlook the errors either. I noticed the change of gender and found it most confusing. It made it difficult to keep up with which character was which. I think I'll be passing on this one. Thanks for your candid review.

A storyline that involves paedophile relationships, romance and commitment sounds captivating. Although I don't feel it'll be a good read for me at the moment. You did well on this review.

This sounds like a heavy subject that I don't want to think about. The abuse of children is not something I care to read about. Thank you for the great review.

This is a nice review, but too bad that the book was not properly proofread. The characters keep on changing, the story leaves you in suspense, but all together great book to read.

From your review, this sounds like a book that has a lot to offer in terms of the material it covers. I especially like that it teaches kids how to be aware of SSRs. That said, I do hope the author takes your comments to heart and thoroughly edits the book. As it currently is, I'm going to take a pass. Thank you for a well-written review.

I don't like being left hanging, I hope there's a sequel? The book certainly needs proofreading. Thank you for the detailed review.

After reading the sample pages provided, I found the book hard to follow, as it seems too convoluted with back stories and inconsistencies. This is too bad, as there is potential in the main plot. Being professionally proofread would gelp this book quite a bit.

As previously mentioned, this sounds like a confusing read. Add to that, the errors that an editor should have caught before publication (such as changing genders). I'll skip this one. Thank you for your honest review.

I also read this book and I find your rating fair and objective. I also found too many errors in the book. Great job, your review is professional and accurate.

This book is very informative and a must-read for all parents. however, I do not like the author's inconsistency as regards the information for the characters. Thus making the book confusing to read. I would still love to read this book regardless. Thanks for the review.
