From my experience, the grandparents seem to be the primary caregivers most of the time due to the parent's financial circumstances when the child is still young (Unable to pay for aftercare/daycare). This inflates the target audience 10 fold and I am sure that all those that work with children will find this book useful. Thank you for the great review! Happy reading :techie-studyinggray:

This book is extremely relevant to our world today, as many grandparents are unexpectedly raising their grandchildren. The author outlines many reasons for this and helpfully cites the research and studies from which she got her information. I also love the incorporation of quick, actionable tips in each chapter as quick references. Thanks for this excellent review!

Finding yourself suddenly raising your grandkids is bound to be unexpected and confusing which is why this book will be greatly appreciated. I'm not part of the intended audience but I will suggest to others. Great review!

This book can be useful to any caregiver. I love how the writer wrapped up facts with her personal experiences. I'm seriously considering gifting the book to my parents ( they're raising my nieces). I bilieve it will be really helpful.

I liked to see the concept of "grandfamily". This is a topic that you don't usually hear about.
I also appreciated the fact that the book seems to be very versatile, according to the audiences you recommend this book to, in the last paragraph.
Thank you for the insightful review!

I like that the author has written a book that relates to real-life scenarios. A narrative like this - especially when it has to do with a lot of families - could be a great inspiration to the society these days. Nice work.

This book seems like a great informational resource that gives exceptional advice. It's unfortunately not for me, but maybe in the future. Thanks for the review!

I love self-inspiration books! This would be a great read. It hurts me that there are so many children around the world who are subjected to horrible parenting. Awesome review!

This sounds like an informational book mixed with a lot of emotion. I don't think grandparents should raise children unless the parents are absent but that is entirely a different subject. Good job highlighting key points in your review.

This book sounds wonderful. It sounds like a really good support book for grandparents raising their grandchildren. I am not currently in this situation, but I will surly suggest this book to people who are.

This is a really good review, well written and articulated. I am really interested in the book even though I am not a grandparent yet. I think it will be of help in the near future.

It seems that there are a lot more GRG than I thought. My own family has had this happen and I wish we had known about this book while living it. I think the positive attitude and love for the kids first and foremost that the author shows is impressive. I know that people who find themselves in this situation can benefit from this book and the many resources given in it.
