Indeed, when the characters get our attention it's hard to stop reading. You always want to know what is going to happen to them. Thanks for your comment!

It really is pretty engaging, I couldn't stop reading it! It's an amazing thing when this happens. Thanks for your comment!

This truly sounds like a gripping story, though I'm surprised to hear that a character arc in it was left untied. That's almost always off-putting for me, even more so when the characters are fleshed out well. While your review has piqued my interest in this book, I think I'll skip it for now, as I'm not too keen to deal with the triggers you mentioned at this time. I appreciate you bringing them up. Thank you for the thorough review!

It's really sad when you don't get to know what happened to a character, but in this case, I enjoyed the book in spite of it. Thanks for your comment!

I read this book some time back, and I found it to be just as you've described it. I think Christopher Penington is a wonderful wordsmith. Thanks for your review.

I had really hoped that Peter would reunite with his wife, but the author must have had his reasons for not including that in the plot, now that an intimate bond was forged betwen Peter and Boriana.
I enjoyed your review, thanks.

The reason I'll be reading this book is its supernatural content..thanks for the great review!

I really enjoyed the relationship between Peter and Boriana, I don't know how it would be different if this happened. I haven't thought about it, it's an interesting question. Thanks for the comment!

It's really great when a book with supernatural aspects develops such a great plot! Thanks for the comment!

I've read this book too. An all in one book which comprises of time travel, sci-fi et all... Nice review.
Insofar as the word 'should' even has meaning, then we must say that the past is exactly as it should be, everything that happened should have happened, and everything that should happen will happen

I liked that book very much, but I noticed that too - the author somehow lost Elisabeth's story line. She was introduced in the very beginning of the book and I though she becomes the main female character, but suddenly she gets lost :) Thank you for a great review!

It's really sad that it ended that way, indeed. She was a character that had a great potential. Thanks for your comment!
