Only the genre type is enough to make me readily read the book . But the whole review represents that the book actually has more than one can ask for. It's a really interesting book for me to work out my mind. Congrats to the author .

It's a story about a guy bored and stressed to death (well, almost) by his corporate job. He had to go everyday to his office and do the job he didn't like, if not hated, just because it was a job, a right thing to do to support himself. Everyone has to do it and there seams no escape from that.

Looking at this story from this perspective, I have a lot of sympathy and understanding for John. The spirituality is a good thing as well. The absurdity as the style of this narrative is a good idea too as otherwise it would be a heavy-loaded and dull book. However, while I like the character and the main problem discussed in this story, this book is still not for me. Its language, its fancy development of that spirituality theme are just not to my taste. I've read the free sample but I wouldn't be willing to read a full book even if it's free.

The #BOTD has me interested in finding out what type of "experience" John had that made him decide to become an evangelical church founder. I believe nobody wastes their life because our actions or lack thereof always leaves an impression upon others. Great review!

Interesting and intriguing concept that John innocently tries out a bed and it changes his life! I don't read books about magic, but it sounds like an interesting read. This is my first encounter with an absurdist fictional novel. It seems to be quite intriguing and creative. I like how the protagonist 'finds' himself, and works towards spreading his new found joy and realizations. Nevertheless, I'll pass on today's BOTD.
