Quite a painful experience that Sean had to go through. This book is well written, the twists and turns feels it with curiosity. Good review

Using lyrics from the Beatles sounds like an interesting idea for a crime novel. However, it's not really my thing, so I'll pass.

The story focuses on a crime, but it also seems to include drama and other interesting themes. The mentioned evolution of the character Sean captures attention. He goes from wanting to commit suicide to care about others.

Sean sounds like someone going through a mid-life crisis at the same time his girlfriend is murdered and he gets a cancer diagnosis. A lot of tough realities to deal with in this story. Thank you for your review.

Great review! The rape and murder of Merissa definitely threw me off but I would like to read the entire book as it sounds very interesting.

Nice review you got here. It is interesting to know that a person that's about to give up on life eventually becomes a hope giver. What an irony. I will like to read this book someday.

Such a terrifying and sad beginning when the only thing that seems to give you hope is taken away in such a painful manner. How does killers live, really? I hope Sean survives the deadly disease. Meanwhile, Sean and Kayleigh's friendship sounds comforting and heart warming. Thank you for a beautiful review.

The novel had some sides to it. The character of Sean and the theme of crime and rape are basically my interest in this whole story. If the opportunity unveils, I read it.

I'm utterly intrigued by this storyline. I didn't see cancer or suicide coming in at all, neither did i see a little girl who just might be a saving grace. I'm certain the suspense will be intense. Thanks

Murder mystery is one of my favorite genres to read. Also having characters that draw you in and make you feel a connection is a must when it comes to any type of story. Whether you love then, feel sorry for them or just plain loath them. You've got to have some affinity for them to make it work.
Great review, thanks so much. :tiphat:

Who is the Beatles Song Murderer who killed Sean's girlfriend and many others? I love crime thrillers, so I'd like to read this book and solve the puzzle together with Sean. Thanks for your review!

This is a thriller of a story and makes me think about the HBO crime dramas that I have watched recently. I like that the author was so skilled at his craft that he kept you guessing as who the killer might be. I always like to read books that keep me guessing until the end and has me at the proverbially edge of my seat. The plot line that involves Sean and his cancer diagnosis also adds more depth to the story because you get to see him at his most vulnerable.
