I agree that having this as a stand alone really helps. Sometimes I don't want to invest in a series. This way I can either dive into the series or just enjoy the book as is. Thank you for your comment.

Thank you for your comment. I look forward to reading the next book in the series (especially if it is as good as this one).raluca_mihaila wrote: ↑29 Mar 2021, 09:53 I also loved the book very much! I read the next installment, and it was as amazing as this one. I was also disturbed by the scene with the dog murder, so I know what you mean. Great job with the review!

Thank you for the comment. It was wonderful and isn't it great when you have a suspect as your read? Then you get to see if the evidence leads you to your suspect.MarianaFigueira wrote: ↑29 Mar 2021, 17:04 I also thought the poem was an obvious clue, and I kind of had my suspicions from the start about who the killer was. Still not disappointed, it is a wonderful book. Thanks for the awesome review.

It is definitely worth the read but agree you really need to be in a certain mindset before picking it up. Thank you for your comment.NetMassimo wrote: ↑09 Apr 2021, 10:11 This seems like an intriguing mystery, though I'd have to get prepared before reading it considering the tough contents. Right? Isn't it nice when reading mysteries that the clues point you in a direction? It can be frustrating when the clues given could be anyone. These clues are subtle enough to build the suspense but become obvious when the the mystery is solved. Hope you get a chance to read it. Thank you for your comment.

I’m glad you liked my review. Did you read other parts of the series? I’m looking forward to reading another one. Thank you for your comment.Honest-reviewer wrote: ↑27 Apr 2021, 03:55 I too have read and reviewed this book. I enjoyed the plot line. It’s quite intriguing. Great review!
I am always hesitant to read mysteries and thrillers but this one was fantastic. It made me want to read more of the genre. Do you have a favourite mystery writer? Thank you for your comment.Holly Fleming wrote: ↑27 Apr 2021, 11:24 I love this genre, so I'm excited to hear that this book is well written and professionally edited. I agree that it can be annoying in a mystery genre for obvious clues to be missed by seemingly otherwise intelligent characters. Thank you for this review!
