So true. I had the blessed opportunity of caring for my father in his final years. I had no idea it would work out that way, and in spite of other sacrifices involved, I will be forever thankful for that time.

Getting older is a great thing but can also be worrisome . But this book seems a little too saddening for me. Thank you for a great review though!

Having family members with Alzheimer's disease can be quite a challenge. I am glad he had his dad present to share in the burden. Thanks for the review.

It was indeed a touching read. It’s nice when you get to have some sort of closure with family members. Thank you for your comment, C Janet! Great seeing you, as always.
