So true. I had the blessed opportunity of caring for my father in his final years. I had no idea it would work out that way, and in spite of other sacrifices involved, I will be forever thankful for that time.

Getting older is a great thing but can also be worrisome . But this book seems a little too saddening for me. Thank you for a great review though! :D

Having family members with Alzheimer's disease can be quite a challenge. I am glad he had his dad present to share in the burden. Thanks for the review.

The loss of parents can be so disheartening even when they are old enough to stop living. I would commend the author for sharing his thoughts.
