If the book is really good and engaging I'm not really paying attention to the chapter's length. Otherwise, I find it hard sometimes to focus for long periods of time and shorter chapters are better for me.

I prefer books with short chapters. I don't know why. But, it doesn't mean that I dislike books with long chapters.

Short chapters as they're easily digestible.

I like short chapters, as they motivate me more to finish the book because they give me immediate feedback as to how I am progressing.

Shorter chapters for the most part. Long chapters tend to drag, for me. Especially at night, which is normally when I read the most.

I prefer a book with a bit of mystery and romance. But my best genre would be sci-fi/fantasy.

I prefer short chapters because they a easier to read. Also, it can be a bit boring to read a long chapter. I especially need breaks in between chapters.

Short. I tend to think I can read just one more chapter when the sections are short. I also become less impatient because I know just one more chapter won't take much time. With long chapters, I always feel that when I choose to sit and read, I have to make sure I have more than 15 minutes of undisturbed peace.

I prefer shorter chapters, as they always mean, at least often, some transition is happening. However, when a chapter has to be long and is enthralling, then I don't mind. Even short chapters can be apparently long when they are dull.

Short chapters encourage me to read more because I prefer to stop at the end of a chapter rather than at a random point. So, if the next chapter is thirty pages, I'm more likely to stop rather than continue reading for that day.

I like a mix of both. Short chapters early on make it easy to start and continue the book. In the middle, a mix of both doesn't really bother me. Finally, a short one to finish the book. But if the story is good, I don't mind the length of the chapters.

Either works for me, but I prefer short chapters because they're generally less dragging and fast-paced

As long as they are interesting to read the amount or length of the chapters does not matter.

I prefer shorter chapters but it also depend highly on the genre. If it's a self help or a technical read I prefer shorter chapters. in fictions it depends on the genre. For mysteries I rather prefer longer chapters

Hmm... It depends actually. I prefer longer chapters when the book is very interesting. But when the book is boring, I'd kill for shorter chapters. (Just kidding about the killing part :D )
