Re: Review of The Three Little Monsters and the Cranky King

Post by Abeladrine Korosia »

The Three Little Monsters and the Cranky King is a children's book that follows the story of three friends who are in need of a new king. The king has been cranky for the past few years, but his daughter thinks that she can change him. However, it seems that things are about to get out of hand when the princess falls in love with one of her father's treasures. This book was an interesting read because it illustrated how much children's books can change from one generation to another.

The first thing I noticed while reading this book was how well it illustrated the characters and their surroundings. The illustrations were done in black and white, with simple lines giving each character a unique look. This made them easy on the eyes while also capturing their personalities through their facial expressions and clothing choices.

The second thing I noticed while reading this book was how well it demonstrated some common themes found in children's literature such as loyalty, friendship and family bonds. The main theme of this story is loyalty between friends (which is shown through their shared love for gold). It also shows how even those who are not related by blood can still share similar values (as seen through how they work together).

The book is a very relevant and timely reminder for kids about fact checking, false news, and rumors. Congratulations on Book of the Day!

A fun children 's book that teaches kids not to be judgmental of others. The illustrations will keep children entertained as they read and absorb the contents of the book. Congrats on botd!

Great review! It is a fun book with a great moral lesson. Even adults could learn from it. I don't know why a weird question pop out immediately after I read the review. What if the children try to make friends with 'the monster' in real life? Which hides under the bed or in the closet? It could turn out to be an unexpected twist.

"Do not judge the book by its cover." Raising decent human beings with great attributes should start at an early age. It sounds like the message of this book is doing exactly that. Congratulations on BOTD!

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting children's story about a kingdom of monsters where three of the younger monsters, against the advice of their parents, decide to play in the king's castle. While I am not the target audience, it might be worth a second look for parents with young children. Well done.

A good lesson about the importance of not judging a book by its cover that is age-appropriate sounds like an excellent read for kids. The message is simple and the pictures are vibrant and pleasing to the eye. Thanks for the lovely review.

I don't have any need for a children's book, so I will pass on this title. Thank you for your review, though, and congratulations on Book of the Day!

This looks like an interesting, imaginative, colorful book that children, parents, and teachers will love. It teaches messages of inclusivity. You shouldn't judge someone by how they look or by where they live. Everyone needs friends.

This children's book sounds perfect to teach little kids to not judge people by their appearance or by what other people might say about them. In this book, three little monsters were warned to not approach the king's castle because their parents said that the king was dangerous, but they go there anyway and have a surprise. Congrats on BOTD to the author! Thanks for the review!

I have to agree with this review. The author created such a perfect storyline, and it's very easy for children to digest. I found the illustrations to be colourful and reminiscent of the books I read in my childhood.

The Three Little Monsters and the Cranky King by Teydon Rae tells an intriguing tale that teaches children that they should not be judgemental about someone.

As a children's book, this book can't also be enjoyed by adults because the lessons that abound are not meant for people of a particular age bracket. Congratulations on BOTD!

It is a heartwarming story and will teach a reader to not judge other people immediately because we all know that it is bad. :D
