I may not understand exactly how you felt, but I know that everything God plans is for the best. Yes, we might not understand immediately, but there is always a light at the end. I am so sorry, by the way.Tonia Freeman wrote: ↑05 Sep 2022, 01:27 I don’t know that one is more common that the other honestly. Personally, when my mom died I had a very clean break with religion and my deep faith. I think it was multiple factors but even 10 years later I have still never stepped foot inside a church except for funerals and weddings. I honestly don’t know if I can forgive and move back to my faith. It has evolved and changed.

True. For instance, when people lose their loved ones, they feel like God is punishing them in some way, which is not the case.

Many become Christians for God to grant them certain favours, so when tragedy comes their way, they don't think twice about God. Its true.Lawrence+2 wrote: ↑05 Sep 2022, 07:08 The worst part about Christianity is that often, Christians tend to profess but not practicalize it. At every slightest challenge, Christians tend to forget what God is capable of doing.
