At this moment my favorite author is JD Nixon. She is an up and coming Aussie writer with 2 series out right now. They are Heller and Blood Ties. Both are about these awesome women and their crazy lives. Both books have everything, action, laughs, tears. She is such a talent and just starting out! Also both series first books are free on both nook and kindle and the rest of the series is 2.99 a book. She is definetely my favorite for now and probably far into the future!

I love Harlan Coben. His books are amazing. Very fast reads. Just read his teen series. Can't wait for the next book.

I think I am in love with J. R. R. Tolkien's writing style. I admire his ability to create a whole universe, from mythology and creation stories, to whole ages of history. It is a rich, fulfilling read to enjoy Tolkien.

I don't think I could actually pick one author to be my favorite but I do always enjoy anything I read by James Patterson, Harlen Coben, and ‎Cecelia Ahern.

Paul Reiser, yes the comedian and actor. He wrote a series of books called, Couplehood, Babyhood and recently Familyhood. I just read Familyhood and was dying laughing the whole way through it. Great Author!

I read all of the House of Night Books. I love the story, but not the language! I have to put it in the back of my mind so I can enjoy the plot fully.

My all-time favorite author is Diana Gabaldon. She is definitely at the top of my list. My other favorites include Sara Donati, George R.R. Martin, Kate Quinn, Jennifer Donnelly, and Jane Austen. While I've only read one book by Jack Whyte (The Forrest Laird), I did love it, and I have a feeling that as I read more, he will definitely be on that list!

This is so difficult to answer! I will say I have more than ONE favorite author.
One author I love is John Green. He's amazing. His writing is unique and he's the only author I've ever read that can make me cry and laugh so much. Some of his books deal with serious issues but he can still make you laugh. And my gosh do you fall in love with his characters.
Sophie Kinsella is another favorite of mine. She is so hilarious and her characters are some of the absolute best. Seriously amazing characters.
Where vampires are concerned I adore Richelle Mead.
New Adult I am obsessed with Jay Crownover.
Contemporary I'm in love with Tammara Webber and Sarah Billington.

My favorite author is Jodi Picoult. Although her books have similar themes, they are all different in their own way and are about real life problems/events that make you feel like you are apart of the novel (:

My favourite author... I have loved different authors at different moments in my life! :)

Right now, it would have to be Haruki Murakami - I can't seem to want to read anything else. Before him, it was Ryu Murakami. Before him, it was Kurt Vonnegut.

And I have adored Bulgakov and Dostoyevsky's novels ever since I first read them!
