I get where you are coming from. But more than the length of the book the problem seems to be the uneven distribution of the length of the stories. Maybe it's al about what we expect. If the book was marketed as some short stories and one novella, the long chapter would make more sense, perhaps. The topic is quite original, though. Great review!My biggest issue with this book was the length. I felt like it could have been shorter or broken down into more than one book. I also thought it was weird that one particular chapter (chapter 11) was 346 pages. Chapter 11 was almost half of the entire book. These affected my reading experience but not enough to make me remove a star from the rating.
