What a unique story. I wasnt expecting to be so interested in reading about a large scale work place mystery (kind of like a drama) But this seems like a very good book. Excited to give it a try and check out the other books in the series.

What a wonderful review! But no spoiler, though...I liked the sample very much because it has interesting characters who are my age. This novel is a good mystery book and I am looking forward to reading it!

Mystery and thriller are something I enjoy reading and I would love to know the mystery Maria discovers while helping her son. Great review and congrats on the BOTD.

The suspense in the book was enthralling. There was a perfect blend of crime, murder, mystery, and tension; I congratulate the author on a job well done.
- As do I, congratulate the reviewer on using such words as 'enthralling' to captivate me, along with the perfect blend of crime, murder, mystery, and tension. l loved how the reviewer mentioned the background stories on almost all the characters introduced, which helped her understand the characters' behaviors in the book.
The book was well written and detailed for easy comprehension.
- which is something I always look for, in a book. She says
the author employed the use of dramatic irony in the novel.
-which was another thing I liked and will probably have to quote the rest of her paragraph(till the end), just to show how much she pulled on my heart strings, with those words of hers. You have gone over and above my expectation of an exceptional review. Thank you so much!

I enjoy a good mystery, but from the review, I wasn't sure about the storyline. I read the first few chapters and got a better handle on the chain of events that gets the story moving. The author has a fine writing style and a good ear for dialogue. I enjoy stories in which the main characters are long in years but still active, attractive, and eager to solve a mystery. Congrats to the author on BOTD!

The mystery of this novel does not seem easy to solve. I find it convenient that background stories are provided for almost all the characters. In addition, the use of dramatic irony and the omniscient point of view is attractive.

You can tell it's a good thriller when it keeps you interested, and when you keep guessing till the end.

I am sorry to say that this book's plot failed to attract my attention. Insurance, payroll, analysis - all the things the mystery evolves around, sounds very bureaucratic and totally not my cup of tea and I am afraid I won't be able to enjoy reading about them without confusion. Congrats with BOTD, anyway!
