Yeah, that drives me nuts. Nothing pulls you out of the world they've created and you've moved into in your mind like typos and grammatical errors. Especially when the story is interesting and there are a lot of errors. After a while I just want to throw my book but as it's on my ereader, that would be disastrous.MassimoMarino wrote:Typos and grammar errors![]()

Story of my life. It always starts with "hey what book are you reading?" I lift the book so they can see the cover while i keep reading and then they decide that it would just make my day if they had a half-hour conversation about the author. I love book talk, don't get me wrong. But if you spoil my reading time I just may turn into the hulk...Zepher07 wrote:People who can clearly see that you are reading, but insist on having a full-blown conversation with you anyway. These people do not even ask if you want to converse with them. This happens to me all the time when I try to read when I'm on my break at work. I just want to relax with a good book. Is that too much to ask?

Nor am I impressed with people who want an instant review of the book I am reading. I doubt anyone else reads for the same reasons I do; we are all different creatures and that's the beauty of reading.
But I have to get to the greatest annoyance of all...time! There just isn't enough time to read all the books and other material I want to. And I will need at least another two or three lifetimes to get through all the works of all the humans who have produced works worthy to be read!
