Re: Review of KEYS TO HEALTHYCommunication

Post by Warren Bignell »

The Keys to Healthy Communication start with being able to listen to what others have to say about certain topics, and view points.

1. Being able to communicate in a way that's clear, and gets a message across that is informative, and brings something to the table that helps all party's in a professional and through manner.

2. Being a good team leader/builder that is willing to put forth the effort to educate team members to become more successful at their jobs/relationships.

3. Being supportive of others that might need the extra help/push to become their best self at whatever it is that their trying to succeed in.

4. Being a positive role model that will help motivate others to go above and beyond what is expected of them in their daily lives.

If you feel like your struggling to find the energy/courage to become a better individual, you have to be able to understand that lots of people struggle to find their identity in life as well and that's ok.

Find what works for you, and keep moving forward in life instead of letting all of your failings bring you down.

Communication starts with being a good listener, and when you become a good listener, then you can use all of your new found information that you've learned to help communicate in a more sophisticated way that helps others find better solutions/alternatives on how to move forward with conversations, relationships, jobs/projects etc.

Being a humble and an open minded person helps other's to fell confident about who they're as individuals so that they can overcome their personal struggles, and become the best versions of themselves.

the criticism seems to go in the direction of a good criticism except that on the rating points seems to be a little flattering in all these following points of the keys to healthy communication mentioned in particular: authenticity, empathy, automation there is a lack the important point which is the honesty of the information which will say the key to all the keys.

It is usually said that Communication is Key. So many people have poor communication skills which make a lot fall into depression and loneliness. Knowing your problem might indeed be the first step but we most times don't know how to implement the knowledge.

I'm impressed by how thorough your review is. You've covered a lot of ground in a relatively short space, and you've done it in a way that's both informative and enjoyable to read. You've put a lot of thought into this review and taken the time to understand the book. Congrats on BOTD.

As social beings, communication is an essential part of our being. Yet we struggle with it on a daily basis. An easy to understand book on how to improve our communication skill is absolutely needed. This seems like a book that could do so. Thank you for the review.

"Keys to healthy communication" by Palton, Andrews, and Daily appears to be a well-written and comprehensive guide to improving communication skills. The authors provide clear explanations, real-life examples, and identify barriers to healthy communication, including the impact of technology and the pandemic. Great review.

I agree with the authors' intentions in writing this book. Communication is a key component that is starting to deplete in our societal practices, along with empathy. Great review by the way, keep up the good work.
