Of course, the book talks about hardships and struggles but it really is enjoyable. I am happy I read your review, it introduces the book in a great way. Thank you very much for the review!

I appreciate your analysis and the recommendation to read both books in the series. I like the whole concept of an AI-dominated society. The story line sounds pretty engaging, I may add this to my reading list.
For a long time I avoided sci-fi because I believed that it wasn’t relevant to my life. But…it is. Unfortunately, this is something we’re probably all going to have to face. Especially if the world as a whole doesn’t do something. I don’t know how to address the issue, though. :techie-studyinggray:
I appreciate your honesty and reflection on how science fiction has become more relevant to our lives, particularly in the context of AI. It's true that the growing presence of AI in our society is a topic that we will likely have to confront in the future. It can be overwhelming to think about the potential implications and challenges that arise from these advancements. However, I believe that one of the first steps we can take is to educate ourselves about AI and its potential impact. It's better to learn before we cast any judgement on this concept.

I’m afraid that I know lots of people that will cast judgement without knowing the facts, though.I personally believe that AI could be a big help in lots of areas. This technology could do lots of jobs quicker, cheaper, and without the mistakes associated with humans. Unfortunately, that’s a big issue for some.

I love the heron on the cover of this book, and I loved reading the book 1984, but sometimes this genre terrifies me because the scenarios are so possible.

I’d always been intrigued by this book - the cover doesn’t really give anything away and leaves you guessing what they story will be about.

We are in the era of artificial intelligence, hence this story promises to be an interesting one for me. I look forward to reading it and I hope Kim sails through the hurdles. Nice review.
