This seems to be an interesting fictional book. Ramsay's team of warriors is like the military arm of Nashia. Without it, Nashia does not stand a chance against the invaders. Thanks for the review.

Today I started this book and it was free on kindle for the authors birthday and it being nominated BOTD. It’s less of young adult and a little more on the side of being Rated R. I’m not usually a big fantasy reader but this is very :D intriguing and catchy! The author does a wonderful job of not over complicating the details. He explains some of the appearances of the main characters, Ramsay and his team that defend the city and fight monsters/dragons/dark cults.

The author does a great job of transporting you there, detailing the scene and setting for the reader. I downloaded for free, since it was BOTD, and I intend on finishing it!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the author too, Caleb Birch! :techie-studyinggray: :techie-studyingbrown:

This sounds great for middle or high school students. Not something I would be interested in but I have several students (even some teachers) that would love this book. The adventure and challenges would make this highly appealing to specific interests of genres.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting fantasy young adult story following a group of warriors tasked with defeating a herd of dragons that have invaded their lands and are destroying and pillaging as the dragon see fit. Will the Warriors succeed or will some of them be lost in the process? Might be worth a second look. Well done.

.love it and Amazing ... I am intrigued by the exceptional fighting skills and magical abilities of Ramsay's team of warriors. I am also interested in learning if they will be able to defeat the dragons that have taken control of Nashia.

Thank you for your great review. I'm glad you enjoyed the book so much. I sampled the book and I could tell that it was well written and probably a book that my teenaged son would enjoy. Since I don't care for fantasy books and way older, I will pass on it, but let others enjoy the fabulous story.

This is a great review to cover a very enthralling fantasy story. I like fantasy, dragon stories, stories about monsters, dwarves, knights and talking animals. 4 out of 4 for the review. I can't pass comment on the romance in the story as I'm not sure if the author had a tantalizing sub plot he developed. He started one, but it went from go to whoa in one paragraph.

It is left out of your review. What happens to Irina? You know, the girl who has a crush on Ramsay, they become an item, she sleeps with Ramsay, and then they part ways, all in one paragraph. Just when it was getting interesting. So what happens there? A one night stand? Knights do not do this to girls in those sort of worlds and times. Maybe it wasn't mentioned because it was just a one night stand? If so, it is a 'darling' which should have been killed.

Some readers will want to know what happened and it should elaborated on in the review. Either because it was an integral part of the story, or because (shock, horror) it died a death on the page within one paragraph. Should have been mentioned in the review. Will have to read. Its why a review should include things for a variety of readers (without elaborating and spoiling things). For lovers of romance, this aspect is necessary.

At the beginning of this fascinating story, the author offers us a glimpse of a land under the threat of dragons' attack and how a team of warriors defeats a beast. The adventurous aspects in the story, where the warriors defeat the dragons and prepare themselves for another war with the dragons, sound intriguing.

I read the first chapter of the book after downloading it today and resonated with what you just said. The reading journey was effortless for me too and I think I'll continue reading the book. And the rabbit and it's powers sound interesting, something I look forward to reading more about. Thanks for writing a simple and non-convoluted review.

The BOTD is a magic-filled story of a team of warriors on a quest to take on dangerous dragons. The efforts of teamwork and protecting Nashia are appealing factors in the this well-written story.

"Peril and Splendor" by Caleb Birch presents an exciting adventure featuring Ramsay and his skilled team tasked with safeguarding Nashia using their remarkable combat and magical talents. While the captivating cover and title align perfectly, my personal aversion to dragon-themed tales leads me to skip this novel. Nonetheless, the book appears tailor-made for its intended audience, offering an enjoyable journey through Ramsay's exploits. Geared towards young adults, the story revolves around Ramsay's leadership as he guides his warriors in fending off various threats, notably dragons, while emphasizing strategic warfare and teamwork. Suited for imaginative minds, the narrative delves into a realm of mythical creatures, promising an action-packed and suspenseful tale of battles and protection. As someone who occasionally indulges in fantasy adventures, this novel aligns with my literary preferences.

"Peril and Splendor" by Caleb Birch. An interesting book talks about Ramsay the leader of the team of warriors, which their responsibility is to protect Nashia from any form of intrusion. These are great warriors that fight and defeated a beast tormenting Aegemald for sometime. Full of actions and a most read. Congrats on your #BOTD.
