The author does a great job of transporting you there, detailing the scene and setting for the reader. I downloaded for free, since it was BOTD, and I intend on finishing it!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the author too, Caleb Birch!

It is left out of your review. What happens to Irina? You know, the girl who has a crush on Ramsay, they become an item, she sleeps with Ramsay, and then they part ways, all in one paragraph. Just when it was getting interesting. So what happens there? A one night stand? Knights do not do this to girls in those sort of worlds and times. Maybe it wasn't mentioned because it was just a one night stand? If so, it is a 'darling' which should have been killed.
Some readers will want to know what happened and it should elaborated on in the review. Either because it was an integral part of the story, or because (shock, horror) it died a death on the page within one paragraph. Should have been mentioned in the review. Will have to read. Its why a review should include things for a variety of readers (without elaborating and spoiling things). For lovers of romance, this aspect is necessary.
