What's interesting about this story is the way they kept travelling like young people even as their lives evolved on the home front. Can't say I managed that - if I travelled at all it was with my kids, so it was very different: more like Mum Mission.
This post was brought to you by the word "specifically".

Yes, that can actually be joyful too when we travel with family. What makes it beautiful is sticking to fun even if it gets old and these guys showcase that kind of life. Thanks a lot for taking the time to read this review and for your lovely comment.

It reminds me of the travel plans I made with my friends during our school years. Although we haven't gone on any significant journeys together, we've managed to meet up whenever our busy schedules allowed. Your review has motivated me to read the book and discover how we can better balance our hectic lives while maintaining these cherished connections. Thank you for your insightful and inspiring review!

Yes, it does remind us about traveling with our friends. But luckily we can learn to do better and create these chances in the future. After reading the book, I imagined planning some of these trips with my friends. I even mentioned it to them and they were amazed and excited about the whole idea. I'm glad you are motivated by my review. Thanks a lot for the comment and have a great time!

I read and reviewed this book earlier this year, and like you, I just loved it. I admit to being shocked at some of the things that happened in their personal lives, and I especially like how they 'grew' as men, from being all stoic and 'matey-mate' on the first trip, to showing very real emotion on the 15th one.

Yes I also felt the same way about the characters growing as men. I'm glad you've also read the book. It surely is a joy to remember the adventures in this book. Thanks for stopping by!
