I really enjoyed every single page of the book as it’s very interesting and informative to me that I actually finished it in about 1 week and a half! I loved how the author expressed his thoughts and ideas. Great Job!

thes book best book to give best life experience his parents were profoundly Cajun, a culture he happily imbibed. But when his parents died in quick succession, he lost all hope and his faith in God. He meets Armand, his mother’s cousin, who offers him work in New Orleans and turns out to be the “boss of the Cajun mob.” Armand employs him under the best.

I liked that Noel's mother was able to make a difference in her community and the lesson that anyone is able to make a difference. One doesn't need riches, just the will to make time and to help.
Thank you for the great review.

I'm feeling attracted to this story about family, history, and love. Moreover, the biases in the justice system and the racism-related issues make want to dive into this read that promises to be bright.

This sounds like a wonderful way to explore racial dynamic in the context of the justice system, and I’m very curious about the focus on people of Cajun background! Very intriguing!

This book is quite an exciting read! The perseverance, wit, and tenacity Noel showed in surviving his enemies was quite fascinating! I'm curious to see how this book ends and what happens to Noel and his relationship with Corinne. Thank you for writing an insightful review!

I personally love reading and watching thrillers and this particularly piqued my interest. I felt frustrated while I was reading about how Noel has faced so much injustice but ya it was great how Noel dealt with it.

Obinna Chima Agoms gives Cajun Crow and the Mockingbird by Jimmie Martinez a good review.

Obinna introduces the main character, a lawyer in New Orleans, Louisiana, who grew up in Bon Terre with his Cajun parents.

Obinna points out that the author started the book with a little history of the Cajun people which aids in understanding the historical undertone of the story and its characters.Besides creating characters that were intriguing and inspiring, the author illustrates the many biases that operate within the justice system.

Obinna indicates that this book is an easy read, fast paced and has some light-hearted moments.

Obinna recommends Cajon Crow and the Mockingbird to readers who love legal thrillers with a historical undertone.

Obinna gives Cajun Crow and the Mockingbird a rating of four out of four stars.

Obinna, thank you for a this descriptive review. I added this book to my bookshelves!

This seems like a fascinating look at the culture of Cajun people, and a much-needed examination of the racial issues that still surround society.
Great review.

Understanding the challenges of the characters will require knowledge of the Cajun people's history. I'll read a few pages to get a feel for it before choosing. I appreciate the review. I'd like to congratulate the author for winning BOTD.

I already like Noel, though I have only read the review and sampled the book. I can guess elements of suspense in the storyline, which would make reading interesting. Also, from the perfect rating, I conclude that it's a well-crafted book.

The storytelling feels real, and the characters, especially Noel, are well-developed. The book also talks about biases in the justice system and how they relate to today's social issues.
