Obinna introduces the main character, a lawyer in New Orleans, Louisiana, who grew up in Bon Terre with his Cajun parents.
Obinna points out that the author started the book with a little history of the Cajun people which aids in understanding the historical undertone of the story and its characters.Besides creating characters that were intriguing and inspiring, the author illustrates the many biases that operate within the justice system.
Obinna indicates that this book is an easy read, fast paced and has some light-hearted moments.
Obinna recommends Cajon Crow and the Mockingbird to readers who love legal thrillers with a historical undertone.
Obinna gives Cajun Crow and the Mockingbird a rating of four out of four stars.
Obinna, thank you for a this descriptive review. I added this book to my bookshelves!
