Just reading the title of this book, "A Week's Worth" by Thyme Lewis, made me think that this was going to be more than just that. I enjoyed your explanative review as it touched on the many things Mac goes through in this story, i.e., his mom's heart attack and thus his need to go to see her, the epidemic that has just started, homelessness, and the murders that are happening in his building. This all sounded more than "a week's work" of occurrences to deal with. I look forward to reading how Mac handles all of these issues as he also bonds with his mom during her illness.
