Arthur Telling's book "The Incarnation" undoubtedly questions many beliefs. Regardless of the flaws, the book will entice readers to find out what is said. A thorough examination by the reviewer. Congratulations on winning BOTD!

This is an amazing historical fiction novel highlighting ancient Egypt, reincarnation, early Christianity, the letters of the Apostle Paul, and a heretic gospel, the Gospel of Thomas. The book is temporarily discounted on Amazon Kindle and has an inciteful OnlineBookClub review.

The novel has a unique perspective on the early years of Christianity, with a focus on historical accuracy. It delves into Paul's journeys and letters and provides a comprehensive context to the history and geography of that era. However, the book may not be well-received by traditional Christians due to its unorthodox approach.

The review provided comprehensive and essential information, portraying the book in an excellent light. It discloses a captivating narrative suggesting familial connections between Mary Magdalene, Julius Caesar, and Cleopatra, along with proposing a relationship between Mary Magdalene and Jesus. While the book's premise is intriguing, it's important to note that such information might not resonate well with a Christian audience.

This sounds like one of Dan Brown's mysteries, which nobody believes to be the truth. I believe in the Bible and I'm not interested in views that dispute any part of it. God Himself guided the writers of the Bible and He would not have allowed untruths to be incorporated. I'll give this book a skip. Thank you for the comprehensive review.

I find it difficult to accept a version of Jesus' life different from the one I already know. However, I appreciate the references to these texts found after World War II and to the Gospel of Thomas.

Cleopatra's life is a captivating journey through the pages of history, filled with intrigue, romance, and political maneuvering. As the last pharaoh of ancient Egypt, her story unfolds like a dramatic narrative, featuring alliances with powerful figures such as Julius Caesar and Mark Antony. Cleopatra's intelligence and charisma shone brightly as she navigated the complex web of ancient politics, leaving an indelible mark on the world. Her life is a testament to the fascinating intersections of power, love, and ambition, making Cleopatra one of the most compelling and enigmatic figures of antiquity.

I am a Christian and sensitive to the information given in Christ stories. I have no problem with religious fiction, but in most cases, I find myself not agreeing with its contents. I will pass this one today. Otherwise, Congrats for featuring BOTD!

Thank you for the well-balanced review. The title of this book alone is brilliant enough to catch the attention of anyone, simply because of curiosity. Cleopatra and Jesus are pretty powerful in the shaping of our current world for many reasons. Having their stories combined is pretty creative and smart.
However, I can imagine many religious people who would take this approach personally, especially regarding the absence of the crucifixion in the Gospel of Thomas and matters such as Mary Magdalene's blood connections. Respect to Arthur Telling for taking on such a challenging and creative perspective on these historical figures. The chronology alone would have been a challenge but based on your review, it seems as if this was one of the positive attributes of this book.

It's fascinating to hear how the narrative explores an alternate version of historical events surrounding the birth of Christianity. The incorporation of solid references and well-handled chronology seems to have contributed significantly to the book's appeal. The vivid descriptions of the political and cultural landscapes, especially regarding Paul's journeys and interactions, appear to be particularly engaging.
