Lara an FBI agent is involved in solving a suicide bombing case that has happened in a Jewish congregation. The blast had resulted in death of innocent lives. She is told to get in touch with Mossad agent for the purpose of investigation.
The review provided is crisp and detailed. It also mentions that it is a part of a series of novel which I am very much excited to read.
Killing of Jews has happened since decades. They have been the targets of many. Don't know if the two state solution can actually save lives.

I appreciate that all of the books in this series can be read as stand-alones. That being said I can tell that just like its predecessors this is going to be a gripping and hard to put down kind of novel. I'm curious to see how our favourite duo will save the world in this one.

Thank you for the wonderful review, indeed, without spoilers but with enough information to make "Devil Among Us" by Jack Winnick an absolute must read! It is so strange to know this book was written about a decade ago but the conflicts continue in the Middle East and they have been ongoing since the beginning of recorded history and even longer. Perhaps books like this where Lara and Uri get together to solve problems can show the world a way to get along better because the way of war and disagreement is just useless.

Devil Among Us by Jack Winnick is a thrilling, fast-paced novel with Lara and Uri working together to combat terrorist activities. From the time I first sampled Winnick's books, I have been waiting to review them. I enjoy how his books open with an explosive event and grab the reader's attention from the beginning. For instance, this one begins with a suicide bombing attack in a Jewish synagogue, leaving behind terrible devastation. Congratulations on the BOTD!

It's a good thing that despite being the second book in a series, the novel can be read and understood on its own. I am most fascinated by the public's reaction to the bombing incident that ripped through a New York City synagogue, especially since a wave of fear could have economic and social repercussions.
