I love fictional novels with a female protagonist using feminism in a fantasy way. The courage, tenacity, and heart she shows throughout this book make it a desirable read. She’s a pure role model to the readers. Thank you for writing such an exemplary review!

The novel Queen of Highwings by Andri E. explores the universe of Draco, a planet inhabited by female winged humanoids, Yand. Yanara, a steadfast female lead, embarks on a valiant interplanetary campaign against K'tul, a menacing force. The novel delves into the complex puzzle of Yand's survival and the challenges faced by its female lead, Elia. The main question is whether Yanara can overcome emotional hardships and awaken her psychic abilities to fend off K'tul's invasion, or if her deep feelings could hinder her efforts. Elia's imaginative journey immerses readers in a realm of ethereal fantasy, with each layer adding to its richness.

“Queen of Highwings” by Andri E. Elia is a must-read for parents who wish to encourage their daughters to untap their potential, overcome their gender limitations, and be successful examples to others.

I like characters like Hrya and Enmiat, Hrya was able to shoulder the responsibility and forsake a life of luxury. Enmiat on the other hand depicts unwavering loyalty by remaining in the queen's sidde throughout the journey. It is a great book. Good read. 📚 :techie-studyinggray:

Today's BOTD is a captivating fictional novel involving a bedridden queen who was a fearless warrior herself. After a deadly battle that leaves her in a helpless state, who among her three children will take over the responsibility of protecting the Yandar kingdom? Readers of fantasy fiction will love this theme of intergalactic wars and powerplay. Congratulations on the BOTD!

Wonderfully thorough review. The queen sounds like a strong, confident warrior. Filling her position will be quite the task to live up to now that she can no longer rule. I’m curious to see how the narrative developed and who of her children will take the reins.
I dare say that this book would not only suit women but be a good read for any man with enough openness to accept equality between sexes and know the strength of a woman.

I was thinking along these same lines while reading that part of the review. Maybe someday it will simply be fact and not a statement that needs to be reiterated. Until then, any good reminders of all that one truly possesses (as well as takes on) as a woman can be wondered upon and enjoyed.

It is for those reasons that I am curious about this book. Aside from being female-focused, it also plays with some themes that I always go for (family, love, lighthearted humor peppered into serious affairs, etc). I don’t dive into the fantasy genre much (maybe more so as a kid, not as much as an adult), but this may be a good one to try.

I love the empowerment given to women, that they can do as much as anything as men, therefore they should not have limits to their potentials, rather spread their wings to the best of their abilities while able to learn and grow to what they can do best. Recommended for people in search of their purpose.

"Being brave doesn't mean you're never scared; it means you beat that fear. It's about having the guts to confront tough times with a strong heart and a determined spirit, and a true leader is not the one with the loudest voice but the one who leads by example and inspires others to find their own courage."

"Queen of Highwings" by Andri E. Elia has a vital lesson: our abilities aren't defined by our gender. Thanks for sharing this nice review. Congrats on #BOTD!

Thank you for your insightful review. I grasp from your review that Hyra is the one most likely to take charge of the kingdom as she is young with much pressure placed on her.
The book sounds very engaging. I tend to fancy fantasy themes as they get you to dig deep into identifying soul matters. This book seems to do just that based on the notions you mention. I will take note of this book as a potential future read.

Andri E. Elia's review of "Queen of Highwings" is gushing about how much fun and how wonderful the book is, even though it takes place in the made-up world of Yandar Kingdom on the planet Phe'lak. The critic emphasizes the brave queen, the Phe'lakir people's shattered togetherness, and the fate of the kingdom, which is in the hands of one of the queen's offspring. For readers, a novel situated in a fictitious world is usually delightful. Finding out which of her children will succeed her as the powerful queen will be fascinating.I can't wait to find out which of the queen's descendants is up to the responsibility. The review is worded quite nicely. :tiphat: Congratulations on BOTD.
