I absolutely love mythology and believe that using mythical characters as a basis for a story is a brilliant idea. In fact, it's one of the things that captivates me the most. The way ancient Arthurian characters blend seamlessly with modern characters in Nimue is a testament to the power of this approach. Personally, I was particularly drawn to Morgen - the way she embodies both evil and good is truly fascinating.

The thing that stood out the most for me in this book was that it is a version of an Arthurian tale that completely ignores Arthur, which I thought was fantastic. I also loved the blend of the old and modern worlds.

I don't find any character to particularly stand out. As you rightly pointed out, there's a seamless integration of both ancient and modern characters, giving the plot and storyline a distinct and unique quality.

Nimue: Freeing Merlin is a book on legends and myth. Though no character is outstanding in that sense, I still love the mythological feeling I got from the book.

I can not perceive any character as standing out but I loved how the characters developed. It is really interesting to grow beyond your former self.

In my opinion, Nimue is the perfect blend of Greek mythology and Arthurian Celtic legends. It's an ideal book for those well-versed in Arthurian and Celtic legends. The portrayal of the characters of The lady of lake and Merlin in this book is perfect. The feminine perspective presented through the character of Nimue is truly impressive. I appreciate how the author seamlessly weaves modern-day characters into the mythological narrative, connecting them to their roots.

I cannot perceive any character as outstanding, the characters find themselves and develop into the meaning of their existence.

Authors use old tales to make new characters interesting but familiar. In "Nimue: Freeing Merlin," the character Nimue is a good example. She's based on the Lady of the Lake from old tales, and her mysterious and powerful qualities make her relevance to modern readers. Her journey to discover her true self is something we all can understand.

First of all, I like how the author uses her characters to depict deities. For instance, Nina dad was a replica of the god of alcohol. Guess what? He died of alcohol. Even Nina mother was a replica of the goddess Diana.

I once saw a series of Merlin. It was pretty good. I think I will be able to relate to this story as I am already aware of the characters surrounding Merlin's life. I am completely awed how the mythological stories fill our mind with possibilities. I have always wondered is there magic in the world and is time travel possible. Kudos to the author's creativity.

Mythologies have always had my attention and the arthurian legend will remain my beloved. Hindu mythological stories by Amish are also interesting. If read closely, you will notice a lot of metaphorical resonance with the folklore.

Personally, I love stories based on mythological characters in one way or another, especially with the use of the time dimension, which gives the story a special elegance and makes it have a special charm.

I love how strong the character of Nina/Nimue was portrayed to be. Merlin is another great character which I just love and wanted more of. I look forward to finishing this book.

I really enjoyed every part of this story, I am very fanatic about the mythological characters and creatures and this book completely met my expectations. For me, Nimue is an amazing character, talented, strong and with a pure heart, I loved her.
I felt like I was reading a historical novel with all the details about the ancient wars, the witch hunt and the references of our past.
