I am glad you found nothing to dislike about the book. Filled with action, suspense, crime, and romance, this will appeal to fans of fast-paced international thrillers! Plus, it can be read as a standalone novel. Got my copy already. Thank you for the detailed review!

This fourth part of the Lara and Uri tale had me enthralled. The action-packed, fast-paced story has surprising turns and twists that keep the reader on edge all the way to the very end. There is a clear chemistry between Lara and Uri, and the characters are well-developed and intriguing. I am forward to reading the upcoming installment.

In "The Date Farm" by Jack Winnick, the thrilling narrative follows the lives of Lara and Uri, a married couple navigating the complexities of their dual roles as Mossad and FBI agents. The story not only captures the essence of their dangerous missions but also delves into their personal struggles and reflections on the dichotomy between their high-stakes professions and the tranquility of home life. The novel commendably honors the unsung heroes dedicated to the cause of freedom, offering a thought-provoking exploration of heroism and villainy beyond national borders. The meticulous editing ensures a smooth reading experience, while the inclusion of backstories provides context for both returning and new readers. The book's ability to engage readers with its fast-paced international espionage, diverse settings, and relevant themes, such as the Iran-US conflict, makes it a compelling standalone installment in the series. Overall, "The Date Farm" receives a well-deserved five out of five, enticing readers with its captivating plot, character depth, and reflections on the complexities of heroism. This book is a must read.:techie-studyingbrown: :techie-reference:

The plot of the novel centers on a spy pair thwarting an Iranian attack in New York City in order to steal specialty metal that is needed to make parts for ultra-secret aircraft. I liked all the turns and twists this book's author threw at the reader. I was eager to see what new issues Lara and Uri would attempt to address because this was the fourth book in a series describing the adventures of these operatives. Congrats on BOTD

Comprehensive OBC assessment! The 4th novel in Jack Winnick's Lara Uri Series is another espionage thriller that will undoubtedly keep on their tradition. Novel with action, romance, and a battle between Israel and the United States. It has everything! This genre's readers will undoubtedly be captivated. Best wishes to the author!

Thank you for your thorough review of "The Date Farm" by Jack Winnick. This is the fourth book in this series but can be read as a standalone. The fast pace, thrilling twists and turns through out the book keeps the reader on edge. If you haven't read the other books of this series, you are missing out of more of the same. The setting in this book is the devastating effects that took place at a mall in the US. They once again call upon the help of Lara and Uri to find out who is responsible for this act of terrorism. I look forward to reading this saga. Congratulations to the author for BOTD.

Hi. Thank you for your review of The Date Farm. I am happy to know that Jack Winnick's portrayal of heroes and villains is independent of the nationality of the characters. Every country has heroes and villains. I just finished reading Waterworks which was written by Jack Winnick. He portrayed heroes and villains in the same manner. I also enjoyed how he portrayed the finer points of Iranian culture.

Have a good day :techie-studyinggray:

From the reviews it seems that current book is just right up my alley. I always liked to read about FBI investigations. My only hope is that the romantic part of the story won't become at some point more central than the thriller itself. Congratulations on BOTD!

Lara and Uri action series. Now happily married, Lara also works for Mossad. I wonder how Lara deals with gender discrimination at her workplace. Uri’s comparison of his peaceful, calm home with that of his dangerous job gives me mixed feelings. I feel sad, but at the same time, Uri is duty-bound. How does he really feel about his work life? The massacre at the Los Angeles mall is thought to have had a connection with a gold reserve. The US government needs to tread carefully with the allegations, as they could cause international tensions. Interesting plot! Great review.

The insightful review captivated me and drew me to the book on multiple levels.

One statement that particularly intrigued me is the assertion that nationality does not determine who is the hero or the villain. This has already set certain expectations in my mind, and I am confident that I will thoroughly enjoy the book.

However, I'm a bit hesitant to fully immerse myself in the story, as I am sensitive to depictions of animal cruelty.

Jack Winnick's "The Date Farm" takes readers on a thrilling ride with Lara and Uri. The juxtaposition of their domestic life and the high-stakes espionage mission creates an intriguing dynamic.
