While there is plenty that can be gained from reading this genre of “find/discover yourself” books, so to speak, I think this is one I’ll have to pass on. It’s partially because I can be picky when it comes to this genre anyway, but mainly because if racism (or any type of discrimination) has any place in this book (in a non-constructive way), that is not something to be overlooked.

Definitely not my cup of tea, although I was very intrigued by the cover and anticipated crime mystery or a thriller, so finding out from the description provided in the review the true nature of this book was quite disappointing. No offense, it is nothing personal, just autobiographies were never my thing. Sorry and congrats with BOTD!
