Re: Review of In the Shadow of a Dark Star
Travelling to different places brings healing to one's soul in life from their troubled past, as it gives you a fresh start to life in a new location, and that's what Brent was looking for in life. It's a good, uplifting novel to read.

It's interesting that as the human race, we always believe happiness may be found somewhere else.
I suspect this is the call of adventure that helps us discover ourselves. I once was fortunate to travel from South Africa to the Philippines via Malaysia. This certainly impacted my life positively forward in many ways. Brent's travels sound full of adventure, and I am curious as to what his final conclusions on such travels were.
Congratulations to the author!

As for the criticism in the review, I believe the author mentioned it factually and was merely reiterating what Agetha told him.
