Great review, war life can be very challenging especially to those that have soldiers as relatives go for war, they literally lose self and touch with themselves and loved ones, their life is retouched because of certain experiences. Great read.

I'm not a big fan of novels whose sole subject is romance, but I do like novels that are emotional. This book seems to be very emotional and deals with complex subjects such as trauma. Reading this author's work is made easier by her excellent writing style.

I find this an interesting read as it encompassed Kelly's experience as POW (prisoner of war), when he was found, then his returned back home and recovery. It is a very difficult time for Kelly especially when he finds that his fiance, who was told he had died, married someone else. Things are looking up for Kelly when he meets KC, a woman of a duo singing group. You will need to buy the book, which is at a temporary low price at Amazon. Congratulations to the author for BOTD.

"Saving KC" by Grinnell Desjarlais is a must -read book for romance fiction readers.I like the twist of events . Although Kelly faced hard times in his captivity and in his return changed his life tremendously, trauma but he was able to navigate through all that and ultimately found his true love.Great review!
