The authos suddenly turns the whole story the opposite way by changing into omniscient viewpoint to make the storytelling more pictorial and full of dramatic scenes. Since those characters act differently and flashback makes the story more difficult to grasp, it’s not easy to follow. Note that Winnick is the only character who materializes his substantial understanding of the specific issues associated with the former Soviet Union while he compares the international relationships between the United States and Middle East in the World War II to the recent conflicts in USSR. It could be mentioned that, to provide an example of another form of back-up, the above historical outline manifests the results of many clashes and biases.

I agree with your assessment of the shifting perspectives and well-rounded character development, which add depth and complexity to the story. The strong chemistry between Lara and Uri, coupled with their seamless teamwork, undoubtedly enhances the reading experience.
Your recommendation for mature readers who enjoy suspenseful intrigue is well-founded, considering the intense and graphic nature of the novel. It's valuable to note these aspects for potential readers.
Overall, your review provides valuable insights into the strengths of "Devil Among Us" and effectively communicates its appeal to fans of the thriller genre. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and recommendations.
