I loved the description of this book by the reviewer. It does sound like maybe the title should be "Chess Strategies [and Tactics] for Beginners" by Eric H. Schuelke. Explaining the history of chess, describing the game board appropriately and showing tactics as well as strategies and some of the chess masters moves on both sides of the board could be very instructive for the beginning or even the intermediate chess player. This sounds like a very worthwhile book.
