-Sounds mind-boggling and heart racing. The ending sounds even more blood-pumping. Can't wait to get started on it. An excellent review. Thank you.As the plot thickened, I became more intrigued, but still wasn't impressed. About halfway through I can say I was honestly enjoying the book. By the end, I was hooked! As a fan of CMTS novels, I like to predict where things are going to go. Reneau constantly changes the game, so the reader has no idea how things are going to turn out. Hardin is one crazy Sheriff with crazy schemes to try to get out of trouble. The reader never knows if plans are going to work in his favor or not. The ending is completely unpredictable!

“South of Good” by Randall Reneau seems like a pretty unique crime novel. I like that the book always keeps you guessing on several aspects, engaging us to read until the very last page. The novel seems to start slow and monotonous, but for readers who have patience and want a good story they will not be disappointed. In addition, the shift from first to third person perspective adds depth. Given its unpredictable nature, I look forward to reading this and added it to my list of C/T/M/H books to read.
Congrats #BOTD
