South of Good sounds like it would be a great story for crime and mystery lovers. The thrill of drug pushing and knowing if the Sheriff's plans would succeed seem like something that'll keep readers hooked.

I love some good thrillers, and I love it when I have to guess whether something can work out or it cannot work out. I think I will enjoy this book. Congratulations on the BOTD, and best wishes for future projects.

It sounds like Sheriff Hardin Steel and Wes have quite a lot of adventures while pursuing the drug lord.

Thrilling, adventurous book based on scheming are always fun to read because if guessing game we can host for ourselves. This book concentrating such kind of games, scheming, experimenting new things, how greed could lead other people around. This review highlighted both negative and positive aspects for fellow readers benefits.
With Warmest Regards,

This seems like quite a page turner. i agree with the above poster than the style is similar to the TV show Breaking Bad. While the twists and turns may be chaotic, it's comfortable to know that the narration switches between characters in 1st/3rd person to help the reader keep up.

I'm sure to read a book as exciting and gripping as this one. However, I wasn't pleased with the matter at hand. Even so, I had fun reading the review. According to the assessment, I believe the author possesses a certain kind of imagination that allows the story to flow naturally and capture the reader's interest all the way through. Well done on BOTD!

As the plot thickened, I became more intrigued, but still wasn't impressed. About halfway through I can say I was honestly enjoying the book. By the end, I was hooked! As a fan of CMTS novels, I like to predict where things are going to go. Reneau constantly changes the game, so the reader has no idea how things are going to turn out. Hardin is one crazy Sheriff with crazy schemes to try to get out of trouble. The reader never knows if plans are going to work in his favor or not. The ending is completely unpredictable!
-Sounds mind-boggling and heart racing. The ending sounds even more blood-pumping. Can't wait to get started on it. An excellent review. Thank you.

Thank you for your insightful review!

“South of Good” by Randall Reneau seems like a pretty unique crime novel. I like that the book always keeps you guessing on several aspects, engaging us to read until the very last page. The novel seems to start slow and monotonous, but for readers who have patience and want a good story they will not be disappointed. In addition, the shift from first to third person perspective adds depth. Given its unpredictable nature, I look forward to reading this and added it to my list of C/T/M/H books to read.

Congrats #BOTD

Excellent review. These kinds of stories are my favorites. A decent plot against evil is always a fascinating read. We read much of the time about evil plotting against good. Congrats on BOTD.

I love these type of books! My concern is the pacing though. If I can't get into a novel within 60 pages I put it down. I would like to read this but that is the one concern I have. Congrats on BOTD!
