The author's balanced approach to discussing both the spiritual and practical aspects of marriage truly makes this book stand out.Abiodunakinola wrote: ↑07 Aug 2024, 01:41 This book appears to offer a well-rounded exploration of marriage, focusing on both its divine foundations and the practical challenges couples face. The author’s emphasis on understanding the importance of finances, friendships, and self-awareness within a marriage highlights areas that are often overlooked but crucial for a strong, healthy relationship. Nice review.

Ingiete Oyama's personal anecdotes truly add a relatable and engaging element to the book. The repetition in some chapters can be a bit distracting, but as you mentioned, the honest discussion of sensitive topics and the emphasis on self-awareness and finances are definitely the book's strong points.Igwe Ifeanyi wrote: ↑07 Aug 2024, 01:54 An apt and comprehensive review. I appreciated the author's candid and practical approach to exploring the complexities of marriage in 'My Spouse My Friend'. Ingiete Oyama shares valuable insights and personal anecdotes that make the book relatable and engaging. While I found some chapters to be repetitive and meandering, the book's strengths lie in its honest discussion of sensitive topics like finances, sensuality, and the importance of self-awareness in relationships. The author's commitment to presenting God as the foundation of a successful marriage is refreshing and thought-provoking. Overall, a worthwhile read for couples at any stage of their journey together.

I appreciate how the author related some of the relationship's issues to God as the answer and offered her own experiences and tales. This book, in my opinion, is essential reading for any couple hoping to repair their relationship or get engaged to be married. The author does deserve a huge applause.
