Hallelujah!
I just read the review of *Waterworks* by Jack Winnick, and it has definitely caught my attention! The chilling premise involving polonium contamination raises important questions about national security.

I appreciate the reviewer's mention of the author's expertise in Middle Eastern affairs, which adds authenticity to the story. Winnick's blend of real-world technology with an engaging plot makes the narrative both entertaining and relevant.

I also agree with the praise for the clear writing style, which is refreshing in a genre. However, I share the concern about Lara's access to confidential information.

Overall, I'm eager to read *Waterworks* and explore its themes of espionage and terrorism through Lara and Uri's experiences. Thank you for the insightful review!

I agree with being immediately pulled in to the story, I’m only a few pages in and it immediately sparked my interest. The author has a great way of using simple language to paint a picture in my head. Can’t wait to finish it!

“Waterworks” by Jack Winnick is a fictional story about a terrorist attack on the Los Angeles water supply. Teams of terrorists that were members of an Iranian anti-American group added Polonium to the water supply by dropping it in the water from bridges in socks that they used to bring the poison into the U.S. Lara and Uri were already in Los Angeles on vacation so they were deployed to track down the terrorists and then they were given new identities so that they could be sent to different parts of Iran to gather intelligence and find the terrorist leader in Iran. This is an action thriller that I did not want to put down until the last page. This book is Jack Winnick’s 5th book in this series and all of his books are thoroughly researched, well-written and have kept me on the edge of my seat until the last page. I highly recommend this book.

I love spy thrillers and the review made me want to read both Waterwork and the other novels in the series. A big plus for me is the fact that the author is a scientist. Thanks for a good review and for an interesting reading idea.

"Waterworks" by Jack Winnick is a gripping, fast-paced thriller that masterfully weaves together espionage, terrorism, and international intrigue. With its meticulous attention to detail and realistic portrayal of counterintelligence operations, this book is a must-read for fans of spy novels.
The difference between taking and giving, and taking and not giving is the difference between life and death.

Great one! This is a fantastic review, I must confess. I completely agree with your assessment of the book 'Waterwork' by Jack Winnick. Also, your summary of the the plot perfectly capture the importance of the story.

From me, I particularly appreciated alm your comment about the author's attention to detail without being boring. Affirmatively, it's true that some spy novels can be confusing or hard to follow, but the author’s writing is not vague and concise, making it feasible and easy to become fully immersed in the story.

Moreover, your minor criticism about Lara's access to confidential information is also well-taken. While it's true that it might have been more realistic to depict a more difficult or time-consuming process, it's also true that this is a minor quibble in an otherwise excellent book.

In conclusion, I think you did a great and fantastic job of reviewing 'Waterworks'. Your review is thorough, well-written, and provides a great sense of what readers can expect from the book.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this

This review offers a thorough and engaging overview of "Waterworks" by Jack Winnick, highlighting its fast-paced narrative, well-researched details, and realistic depiction of counterintelligence. The critique about Lara’s seemingly easy access to sensitive information adds balance. It’s an insightful recommendation for fans of spy thrillers, while fairly noting potential sensitivities for readers.

Waterworks: (Lara and Uri, #5) by Jack Winnick is an action series novel about the duo agent Lara and Uri, who are assigned to solve the mysterious adventure, of poisoning the Water aqueduct by anti-American criminals. If you enjoy suspense and thrillers this is a great reading.

Based on this review I will definitely be reading this book as it got me intrigued. I love that you made mention that there is no sexual content other than kissing, which I appreciate as I do not like to read highly sexual contents in book. Also appreciate the waring given in regards to the Pro-USA AND pro-Israel viewpoint

After reading the free sample of the book, i can say the review is fantastic! ."It is a chilling account of what could happen in the U.S. without the constant counterintelligence to ward off attacks like this." I agree with the reviewer, substance of any kind finding its way to the Aqueduct Filtration Plant its chilling to imagine the devastating outcome. Am curious to know how the investigations took turn. Thank you for the review.
Congratulations BOTD!.
