He has had some experiences, for example in the Shetland Islands he met and became friends with US Coast Guard personnel and had some memorable times especially with their Rugby team "B.P." Dave spent time with the Coast Guard while traveling for Rugby matches which led to adventures at the Penguin Club, Sergeant's Mess, Balta Sound Hotel and Saxaford Camp. Dave has enjoyed his life in the construction industry, recording the worst and best of times whilst working on contracts all over the UK.
