Agree with you - that series is superbdarkandstormyknight wrote:C.J. Sansom's Matthew Shardlake series is really good! It takes place in Tudor England and follows a hunchback lawyer as he solves mysteries, usually involves the religious opinions of the time. The books are "Dissolution," "Dark Fire," "Heartstone," "Sovereign," and "Revelation." They don't necessarily have to be read in order, but it'll probably make more sense if you do.

Linwood Barclay has been my favourite Crime/Thriller author for a long long time now and would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a gripping fast read. My favourite book so far is "No Time For Goodbye", certainly kept me hooked til the very last page!
