The Lovely Bones
So, just as a "for no real reason" gift, I thought I might give her this book. The way I see it, if she doesn't like it, no loss because I got it for her.
She is in her late 50s, not into "shock and gore" movies or books. Likes a good story.
Should I do it?

Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen and Street of a Thousand Blossoms by Gail Tsukiyama are both really good books that moms might love.

Movie was quite good, mostly due to the fantastic acting from irish actress Saoirse RonanEriksoln wrote:I had a lot of people who read the book tell me the movie was awful. That doesn't surprise me. So you didn't think the movie was bad? I can see going over there one night and watching it with them. They love it when I bring Chinese over for a movie night lol.
