Movies that make me cry are :

Titanic
The Note book
Steel Magnolias
Fried green tomatos at the whistle stop cafe

Basically anything where some one either dies or there's a happy ending. :cry:

Titanic and the recent Remember Me. I usually steer clear from the tearjerkers, so haven't watched movies like Marley and Me. :P

Last evening I re-watched Dark Water. And even if that movie is a scary one, at the end I was crying again. I am hopeless.

The Reader, A Walk To Remember, Seven Pounds & I Am Legend.

The Reader touch a specific special place inside me, idk why but that movie got to me real good. I love Kate Winslet .^^.

This is going to sound so ridiculous, but as a child I used to love to watch Who Framed Roger Rabbit whenever I was sick. And the scene where the judge dunks the poor cartoon shoe into his "Dip" made me cry everytime!

Well i don't cry when i watch really good, dramactic movies- they stir the passion and emotions in me, but this mainly comes from the way the actors portray their characters.
I really love ;
The English Patient, The Painted Veil, North & South (English series based on the book by Catherine Gaskell), The Duchess, Atonement, Jane Eyre (2008).
Reading the books is also stirring, this is because there are often moments or images that are not portrayed in the movies, which sometimes takes away from the story.

Marley and Me.

I read this book first, and although think that the book is much more satisfying than the movie, they did a really good job with this one.

The camera angle that they use as Marley is "slipping away" really gives tangibility to the experience of what it feels like to lose a beloved pet. I tear up just thinking about it.

My Sister's Keeper, Lovely Bones, PS I Love You and 500 Days Of Summer (I felt for Tom) . There's also this Singaporean Mandarin-language film released in 2003, Homerun. Those made me cry my heart out. :(

Really? I did enjoy The Lovely Bone but felt the movie worked well as a fantasy thriller rather than an overwrought weepie, i cant recall any scenes which tugged on my heart strings. Of note to me is the fate of Stanley Gucci, which i remember the most :D
