I posted on this book a few minutes ago on this board, you should take a look. (As I haven't yet psoted 50 messages I can't give you the link, sorry)
It's a real page turner and an amazing science-fiction thriller. Maybe not so psychological as Inception, but it comes quite close I think.

I absolutely loved that movie as well, but unfortunately I don't know of any books like it.
