Re: Who was your favorite author in high school?
I was the same way. The authors I do remember reading are Peirs Anthony, Terry Brooks, Anne Rice, and Robert Jordan.winsomefish wrote:I read so much so fast in high school I don't even remember who my favorite author was. I know that I really liked Libba Bray at one point, as well as Richelle Mead, Ellen Hopkins, and Neal Shusterman.

The other was of course The Twilight series and even more so, The Host.
These are the two that stood out the most. In high school, I usually just picked up any book without caring who was the author.

My tastes have become more complex since but my love of reading fantasy has remained.
