Also, I was given a book to accompany Jane Austen's works called "Jane Austen's Guide To Good Manners" and it's filled with advice on how to pay a compliment, play charades and how not to make horrible social blunders. It's a very clever little book.

My second favorite Austen novel is "Northanger Abbey", which I feel is one of Austen's most overlooked novels. I found it vastly clever and sweet in a way that was unusual compared to Jane's other works. And I liked the innocence and vulnerability of Catherine.

An old story, a newer version, both portray a romantic comedy-of-errors.Woodland Nymph wrote:I personally wasn't impressed by "Lost in Austen"; it turned out to be something completely different from what I had been hopefully expecting and at times it was a little too vulgar for my taste.
