Oh! I was just about to mention Zahrah, too. I loved it. It's become one of my favorites. It's like an African jungle version of Alice in Wonderland. I like it when a children's/ YA novel can be entertaining to adults, too. It's like a family movie, it has to be well done to really be enjoyed by the whole family. So yes, I don't care if it's a YA novel, I'll still read it.proudbookworm wrote:Yes! I love childrens' and ya novels. I finished Zahrah the Windseeker today and it was beautiful. My age is no reason to not read literature whose target audience is children and teens.

Does Harry Potter count? Because that is one of my all time favorite book series. Also I occasionally pick up my son's books like the one about Poseidon that was made into a move? I forgot the name. I don't believe in genres. I believe in good stories whoever the supposed audience is.Wasif Ahmed wrote:Do you still read children books? I sometimes pick up a Goosebumps book or some other book from my childhood to pass time. What about you?
