Thanks for the review.
A trip to Japan on a mission of a lifetime in order to uncover a priceless gem believed to be buried in a shipwreck deep within the Sea of Japan—takes a startling, and dangerous, turn for Rachel and Chase. A murder mystery, treasure hunt and a prophecy that would kill millions..... all set in the exotic locations of Japan.

One concern that I had with the book is that there were a few minor contradictions. For example, Rachel tells Chase that she had been feeling sick for the past two days. A paragraph later, she tells him that “It’s probably just the food from this morning”. However, these contradictions were few and minor.
Sometimes these are contradictions that are put in to show the unreliability of the character? I wonder... Otherwise, sounds like a really cool and interesting, edge of your seat read! LOL

Grest review! I am a big fan of mystery/suspense novels. This one sounds very intriguing being set in Japan and featuring treasure hunting adventure. Most especially its description being an edge of your seat ride is a huge draw. Thanks so much for sharing.

I read the sample and loved it. Your review corroborates just how gripping the book is. Can't wait to find out the surprise about Rachel's dad. I'm glad the few contradictions don't take away from the story.

I have wanted to read this for awhile, and your review just confirms to me that is probably a book I'd really like. It kind of sounds like a female Indiana Jones in Japan, with lots of twists and turns. I love Japanese culture, and the setting of Japan in general, and the fact there is a bit of romance strewn through will probably keep me interested. Great Review!

From the review, the book seems to be loaded with characters although they are well-handled. Tied together with its different geographical settings, mysteries and suspence, I think the book will make an interesting reading. Congrats!

I love a book with supernatural undertones and searching for a underwater treasure that can save Japan just adds to my interest. Congrats on being BOTD

I also enjoy learning about other cultures, Japan being one of the ones that interest me most. Thank you for the review.

This indeed seems like quit the page turner!! I am adding this to want to read list! I read the first several pages and ended up downloading the book on kindle. For anyone who likes a mystery, should definitely read this, so far I can't wait to start turning pages!!?

It was a wonderfully written review that already had me on the edge of my seat and wondering what will happen to everyone even though I haven't even read the book yet. I feel like it would be a little confusing as you said about having to reread chapters because of the amount of characters, but I feel like it will also keep it interesting as it switches points of view.

The setting of modern Japan is exotic and jumps off the page whether in the form of the demure geishas or the twisted honor of the yakuza.
